Since its inception in 2001, Portsmouth Public Education Foundation has awarded over 118 grants. Grants are awarded annually and given directly to the teachers.
Started in 2008, Portsmouth Public Education Foundation also recognizes a teacher chosen by the community with a Teacher of the Year award presented at the Annual Fall Showcase.
Community events like the Hidden Kitchens of Portsmouth Tour and the Fall Showcase are sponsored by the Foundation to support, promote and enhance our public school educational experience.
