Our Educational Excellence Grants are given for projects that are not ordinarily funded by the school operating budget.
- Projects receiving a grant must be completed during the academic year in which they are funded.
Projects previously funded by a PPEF grant are not eligible for a second or additional grant.
- Copies of receipts must be submitted to PPEF by January 15 of the academic year. Any exception to this rule
must have PPEF's approval.
- A display of the project is required at the following Fall Social held in October.
Grants range up to $750 and may be used to purchase project materials, provide off-site educational opportunity,
or support curricula goals. Projects that benefit an entire class or grade level, purchase items of enduring benefit, or
engage community resources are encouraged. Grant eligibility is limited to those projects supporting the foundation's mission.
Grant awards will be announced at the School Department Orientation Meeting.
These grants are our way of supporting our valuable, creative teaching staff and honoring their commitment to the children of Portsmouth.
